Training program book 2024

Training program book 2024

We’ve finally completed our own training program book!

Laudermarke serves a very specific audience: farmers and tractor owners. It’s rare, if not impossible, to find people who know everything about tractors, LED lights, or agriculture, and who are also a perfect fit for roles in marketing, customer service or website coordination. But don’t worry—we don’t expect you to know all of that right away (most of us didn’t when we started here). Luckily, we have two product specialists—one a former farmer and the other a passionate tractor enthusiast—who were willing to compile all their knowledge into one book.

Walk through the various levels

To educate our colleagues, we’ve developed a special ‘In-House Program,’ consisting of six levels:

Level 1: Tour du Boer

Get ready for a ride on a tractor through the countryside and an introduction to agriculture. Join Rob or Ronald as they visit farms, showcasing various types of tractors equipped with our LED lights in action.

Level 2: Meet product Management

Discover the roles and functions within this department. Learn about the brands we sell, the types of LED lights we offer, and the range of services we provide.

Level 3: Tractor brands and Models

Understand the purpose of different types of tractors. Why might a customer choose a specific brand? Why opt for a smaller tractor when larger ones exist?

Level 4: Product Knowledge

This level provides in-depth explanations of the various product groups we offer. It covers basic knowledge for our Customer Service and Marketing departments.

Level 5: Technical knowledge

Dive into the basics of electricity to gain a better understanding of what a lamp is made of and how to install it. This will deepen your technical understanding of our products.

Level 6: Building lights

In addition to tractor lights, we also offer lighting solutions for buildings like warehouses, stables, sheds, and barns. In this level, a select group learns how to advise customers on illuminating their spaces and choosing the right lamps.

The project group

All levels are taught in person and each department requires a different level of expertise, but since there’s so much information to retain, several departments collaborated to create this book. Special thanks to Mark Pollema for the graphic design, Rob Haarhuis and Ronald Lukens for their valuable input, and Dominique Haarhuis for coordinating this huge project.
